Curtis Cotton
Board Member
Curtis Cotton is originally from Durham, North Carolina and currently resides in Greensboro, NC. He attended UNC Greensboro where he received his bachelor’s degree in Music Education. While teaching in WS/FCS System, he received my master’s degree in Music Education and became certified and licensed in School Administration at NC A&T State University. He is also an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and Prince Hall Masonry where our involvement in the community aims to improve the lifestyles and relationships of young men and women preparing for adulthood.
He holds ten years of teaching and administrative experience, serving Philo-Hill Magnet, Easton Elementary, and Flat Rock Middle Schools of Forsyth County. Within his experiences, he has observed the need for impactful actions and programs that will foster the positive and nurturing development for many students who suffer from instability, financial concerns, and broken families. Achieve Arts Academy has the ability to provide meaningful and purposeful outcomes for all of our students and he states that it is a pleasure to serve alongside dedicated individuals who aim to be a solution when it comes to the concerns of our youth.
